This one infinite knowledge we call secular when it is in its lower process of manifestation and spiritual when it reaches a corresponding higher phase.

What is knowledge?
Knowledge is reality. It is the core substance of the universe. Consciousness imbued with a set of ideas is knowledge.
Knowledge is manifested around ‘states’. ‘States of knowledge’ or ‘states of knowing’ represent states of Consciousness associated with a set of ideas that appear to be real, when we are in that state of Consciousness.
Thus, the Universe may be seen as an infinite array of knowledge states – each associated with a set of ideas that appear real when we are in that knowledge state.
Seen in this light, how will we view secular and sacred?
Firstly, secular and sacred are part of a single continuum of knowledge states. When we are in knowledge states associated with material ideas, knowledge is called secular. When we are in knowledge states associated with sacred ideas, knowledge is called sacred.
Thus, ‘knowledge’ is really sacred or secular associated with a specific ‘state of consciousness’.
