The mind directs the heart to potential sources for meeting the hunger.<\/p>\n<p class=\"roman\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\">II<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When the intellect is underdeveloped, the heart is completely indiscriminate. When the intellect is developed, the heart becomes more discriminative.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When the heart is underdeveloped the intellect is cruel. When the heart is developed, the intellect recognizes human consequences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"roman\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\">III<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">How can the dichotomy between heart and mind be dissolved?<br \/>\nThe answer lies in the idea of service.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The act of service expands the heart.<br \/>\nThe act of service refocuses the mind.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Until the mind and heart are one<br \/>\nDedicated to the welfare of the other.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Such a heart-mind acts swiftly<br \/>\nWithout fear. Intelligently. Without seeking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Such a heart-mind lives in universal good.<br \/>\nIt seeks no ethics.
