{"id":6479,"date":"2013-07-15T17:44:44","date_gmt":"2013-07-15T12:14:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/srinivasv.com\/?p=6479"},"modified":"2017-08-27T16:57:25","modified_gmt":"2017-08-27T11:27:25","slug":"the-enabling-mind","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/srinivasv.com\/mapsofbecoming\/the-enabling-mind\/","title":{"rendered":"The Enabling Mind"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is easy to serve others at a physical\/ material level.<br \/>\nBut it is extremely difficult to serve others at an intellectual level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Firstly, any idea we think up must be centered around the other.<br \/>\nSecondly, the act of intellectual engagement must be free of intellectual pride or arrogance.<br \/>\n<em id=\"__mceDel\">Thirdly, we must dedicate our mind in the service of the other (attitude of service).<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The outcome is a user\/ community which believes that the idea is co-created and co-owned by every member of the community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This also means a complete negation of the idea of intellectual property.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-bottom: 0px;\">How then does one serve intellectually?<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-roman;\">\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 0px !important; padding-bottom: 2px !important; text-align: justify;\">I do not think for you. I enable you to think.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 0px !important; padding-bottom: 2px !important; text-align: justify;\">I do not believe that expertise is important.
