An insight takes place when a word/ concept opens up into the next framework that lies below it. The framework below may comprise of elements that are already understood or new concepts that may be easily understood. It is about seeing the word/ concept in a new light.
This movement can be lateral (leading to fresh new unexplored worlds) or deeper (leading to more familiar concepts where it looks “intuitively” right).
When an insight takes place, all previous ideas become facts – merely supporting the next framework. This implies that the concept of a “fact” is relative. There are no facts in the universe – only packed or unpacked frameworks.
The search for truth is the struggle to unpack the next framework from the existing “tempfacts” (temporary facts) at our command. In the final analysis, the search for truth would theoretically end when we reach a point where there are no more frameworks below the tempfacts at our command.
Since such a situation is not reasonable to assume for most people. Men have to be content operating within their frameworks of reality.
