We don’t change because we do not want to change!

We do not want to change because we are convinced that we are ‘valid’ as we are. To change means to say we are not valid. This negates us rather than affirms us.

This makes change painful, destructive, and critical in its mood.

Is it necessary that change be born of negation?

No, change can be born of affirmation. We could change by saying that we seek to develop new “improved versions” of our current identity.

We could expand our identity rather than break it or reshape it. We could, in short, evolve.

We must own the ego of evolution in our hearts.

The Ego of Evolution is the “identity of change” necessary for successful innovation, successful transformation, and successful leadership.
